A funambule–funambulist in english–is a tightrope walker and féerie means a kind of wonderland, defined in french as an "irrational and poetic universe" Like a funambulist, I attempt to walk on the thin line between reality and dreams, reationality and nonsense, reason and passion, and it is not without losing my balance that I make my way into the world.

I realize that most of the pictures I post as inspiration are provenience-less. Please let me know if you have a problem with any of them and they will be removed.
When posting book quotations, I like to use the date in which the work was completed, or first published, to place it in a historical timeline, but the page numbers will come from the edition of the book that I have on hand.
